Save the Date! Parent Summit & Graduation Guidelines Input ~ November 2

Please join us from 6:30-7:45pm on November 2 at LCHS for an opportunity to provide community input into graduation guidelines as our school district looks for innovative and effective ways to meet the growing challenges facing public education in the 21st century. This will also be a chance to hear from the LCSD Board of Education with some updates on their work.

While we will take this opportunity to discuss our vision for education in Lake County, this meeting reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our district programs reflect the values and wisdom of our local community. As we look to prepare our students for college and career, we want to be sure we understand our community’s perspectives on how to ensure that LCHS graduates are prepared for adulthood.

The input we receive from the community will influence the design of graduation requirements and future initiatives. We believe that when citizens deliberate about an issue and when a community is given the ability to help make choices, the directions that are chosen often are better. We would very much appreciate your input, and hope you are able to attend.
