High School Golf Returns to Lake County!
Boys’ golf has made its return to Lake County High School, and the team kicked off the fall competition at Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club at Fort Carson on Thursday! The Panthers finished 9th out of 19 teams and were led by sophomore Matt Quinn. Quinn, whose father was a Lake County golfer, finished 19th out of 75 golfers with an overall score of 86. Junior Jaren Peters was 26th with a score of 88. Junior Jake Cairns shot 101 to take 42nd place, and freshman Arlo Mudge finished with 109 in 49th place.
Shoutouts to head coach Anita Wilke, who has put in a great amount of work to get the program off the ground, and to Mount Massive Golf Course for generously supporting the team!
