Internet Resources and New Program Available to all students

Dear Parent(s)/Guardians 

This notification is for all families that registered students for a Covid Pandemic internet program through the school district with service provided by Max Broadband Internet company.

Upon registering for this program you received internet equipment, installation of the internet and free internet service monthly. We are informing you of the ending of this pandemic program. We were notified on January 7, 2025 that Max Broadband has decided to end servicing in Lake County as the Covid pandemic programs are all coming to an end. If you are still using Max Broadband internet, your service will end on January 31, 2025. 

We are asking that you return the internet equipment to one of the schools or the District Office. 

Good news! 

LCSD has found an additional internet resource for ALL families through T-Mobile’s Project 10 Million.

This new program allows families to sign up for internet hotspots for free. We are offering support (see times below) to sign

up for this program but families are able to sign up for this program on their own!

What you will need to enroll: 

1. A deliverable address 

2. Your students’ school lunch ID number (Ask your student…they use it every day!) 

3. You will be asked to set up a pin number to activate your hotspot.
