Hello!
Hope you all are doing well and staying healthy!
In light of the Governor’s most recent order tonight to stay at home until April 11th, we wanted to reach out with a quick update as to what this means for our work in the schools for your children.
All school district staff are considered essential staff by the State. We will continue to implement the plans that everyone has been working on over the past few days and will continue to provide meals to our students. We will continue to use the social distancing practices for those occasions when staff may need to come in to the school buildings. We will also continue to develop our learning packets to go home on Monday for grades Preschool-6. We will practice social distancing expectations for the packet pick up at LCIS, and we appreciate you following the protocols to keep everyone safe during the packet pick up times. If your child attends the Center, please keep an eye out for upcoming information about their packet distribution.
This is a challenging time for all of us – we care deeply about our students and their families. Please know we miss our students and you are in our hearts and on our minds! Please continue to watch for updates as they emerge in this ever-changing environment. Thank you so very much again for your patience and understanding. We are Panthers – and Leadville Strong!
