Notes about COVID:
The 2nd Day Supports Program with 100 Elk Outdoor Center is a Lake County School District program. As such, if your student is unable to attend in-person learning due to quarantine or exhibiting any COVID symptoms, they are also not allowed to attend the 2nd Day Supports Program with 100 Elk. Likewise, students who have been quarantined from school who are now able to return to their classroom are also able to resume 2nd Day programming with 100 Elk!
Also, just like in-person learning days, students should come to 100 Elk with a completed COVID screener signed by their parent/guardian. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and healthy!
Reminder about what to bring:
The plan is for students to be outside most of the day, even if it’s cold, snowy, or rainy. PLEASE make sure they come prepared to be outside, regardless of weather. As this program is extended into October, we can anticipate some colder temperatures. Please pay attention to the forecast and send your student(s) with appropriate and warm clothing.
Academics @ 100 Elk
Make sure your student brings their school work and supplies (pencils, highlighters, etc.) to 100 Elk. They have time to do school work. No Chromebooks or I-pads should come to 100 Elk.
