Superintendent Bartlett Named Dr. Cile Chavez Fellow
Lake County School District Superintendent Kate Bartlett has been named a Dr. Cile Chavez Fellow of the Rural Superintendents Academy (RSA).
The Dr. Cile Chavez Fellowship is intended to inspire diverse, under-represented education leaders to join the RSA and bring their unique perspectives to the helm of Colorado districts. Each year, two RSA fellows are selected to receive financial assistance from the Boettcher Foundation to support costs related to their participation.
The Rural Superintendent Academy is an initiative of the Colorado Education Institute with a mission of advancing the superintendent role in rural districts to include skilled technical systems expertise, leadership in economic and talent development, and an engaging, inclusive mindset.
Congratulations Superintendent Bartlett!
