Parent Summit Report & Survey ~ We appreciate your input!
The district and the Board of Education extend a HUGE thank you to the over 20 parents who attended the Parent Summit this week. We heard great feedback and suggestions for improvement. We so appreciate the role parents play as our “critical friends.” We learn a great deal from you about what we are doing well and what we could be doing better. At the Summit, parents also asked understandable questions about the assessments given in Lake County Schools and the many different acronyms used. In response, we’ve also prepared a one page overview of formal assessments in our schools for this year. We will be sending out additional information to explain these assessments and put them in context in the coming weeks:

Finally, at the Summit we introduced our annual parent and family survey, the Power of Partnerships Survey. We also gave this survey last year. We invite all parents and guardians to complete this anonymous survey between now and December 18:
