All After School Activities canceled Feb. 27, 2024
Dear LCSD Staff, Families and Community:
Due to snow received today and blowing snow predicted this afternoon, we are canceling all after school activities.
Students may ride the bus home or will need to be picked at 3:15PM (LCES including The Center), 3:30PM (LCIS), 3:35PM (LCHS), 4:00PM (CCHS). Please expect that buses may be a little delayed at drop-off bus stops as they carefully navigate transportation of students to these after school bus stops.
Programs that are canceled include (but not limited to):
- Project Dream at all schools
- All athletic practices
- Shrek rehearsal
- The Center after school care (3:00-5:00 PM)
Students at LCHS and CCHS will be encouraged to remain at their school for those who may leave for lunch.
CMC welding class has been canceled for the day. All other CMC students should check their Canvas account for announcements regarding their specific class as many classes have been moved to a virtual setting.
Please call the front office at LCES and LCIS by 2:30PM if your student would normally attend Project Dream to confirm after school transportation or if you need to make different arrangements for today.
Our maintenance team will continue to work on snow removal this evening and we anticipate school running normally tomorrow and will send out additional communications if this changes.
