Input on Calendar Sought

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members:

This year, a group of community representatives gathered to examine school calendars with the goals of improving student achievement, increasing staff satisfaction, and meeting community needs.
The group agreed that creating a relatively traditional calendar for next year, with some tweaks (described below), would be a great next step.
With these results, the calendar committee will make a recommendation to the superintendent and board of education for the academic calendar for LCSD for 2016-17.
